About Corinne
Corinne has almost 15 years experience in Emergency Medical Services as a Primary Care Paramedic, Emergency Medical Dispatcher, Trainer and Communication Center Supervisor. Currently, she works as a Dispatch Quality Improvement Coordinator (Quality Assurance) supporting dispatch employees in assessing every call for help correctly by providing regular feedback and coaching as well as teaching them how to be strong communicators. Working in an industry where providing emergency help as the first, first responder is done over the phone, Corinne has a firm understanding of how important it is to have solid communication skills.
Training
Corinne is a certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher and ED-Q through the National Academies of Emergency Dispatch. She is the Emergency Medical Dispatch instructor for the Public Safety Communications program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in British Columbia, Canada.
She has also taken a variety of courses in specific areas of coaching, conflict
resolution and leadership.
